Safely Disposing of Used Needles and Syringes
If you are injecting vitamin B-12, B-complex, insulin or some other medications at home, then you should be aware of crucial safety protocols. Most people are well versed by their healthcare practitioners, but it is doesn’t hurt to review proper disposal methods when it comes to sharp and potentially dangerous objects. Those of us with children and pets roaming our houses should be especially cautious with our sharps trash.
Safely storing and then disposing of your used needles is an obligation we owe to all of our neighbors. No one wants to be responsible for another human or animal being stuck by a new or used needle, the health risks are just too high to be negligent. Always store your new and used needles out of reach of children and pets.
It is our humane duty to properly dispose of our injection waste in a safe manner. Buy or make a sharps waste container to dispose of your needles and syringes. Store your used needles in your sharps container

Sam’s Real Life Story of 30 Years of Vitamin B12 Injections
I first became acquainted with Sam in 2012 while traveling throughout South East Asia, but his long history of Vitamin B12 injections is something he just recently revealed. The following is Sam’s story in his own words.
For many years I found myself mostly living in Asia. One day in India, without an obvious reason, I found myself extremely energy depleted and lacking my normal cognitive sharpness. I was physically and mentally functioning at extremely lower levels than I could ever recall. Indian doctors immediately did a battery of stool tests to look for the common culprit parasites, which are very common in the region, especially in foreigners.
After doing 2 tests with different labs, time was expiring quickly and it felt like I was also. I headed back to the USA and some western medicine, and once again they immediately requested stool and blood tests, and they both came back with normal results. I had these tests in both

Subcutaneous Vitamin B12 Injections
Basically, this is an injection under the skin into the fatty tissue. It may sound unpleasant, but when done right, administering such an injection can be virtually painless, and will allow the absorption of vitamin B12 over a 24-hour period. A dosage of 2ml is recommended as safe, anything more could cause irritation at the injection site. As with anything healthcare-related, it should be learnt from a professional.
Instructions for self-administering a vitamin B12 subcutaneous injection:
We recommend seeking professional help before self-administering an injection, however, if you do wish to self-administer, here are some guidelines to help.
Safety first:
- Always use a sterile needle – don’t touch it.
- Wipe the surface of the skin, and vial or ampule, with separate alcohol wipes.
- Prior to insertion, use a fresh alcohol wipe to clean the vial and let it dry
- Only touch the skin you intend to pinch
- Always use clean needles and dispose of old ones
