Storage Instructions for Vitamin C Injections

Now that you've purchased your vitamin C injections need to know where and how to store them. 

Always consult your supplier if you have further questions regarding storage of your injectable C vitamin supplements.

Storage for Vitamin C vials and ampules

Depending upon the manufacturer, there could be some variance in temperature instructions, but in general, good practice is to always store your vitamin C injection ampules and vials in a low humidity, stable temperature place that meets the manufacturer's instructions.

Even though your vials might have arrived packaged in dark amber glass instead of clear glass protecting them, it's still necessary to protect the nutrients contained inside by shielding the vitamin C solution from all light.

The recommended long-term storage temperatures for both manufacturer's of our vitamin C injections is as follows:

• MARCH Vitamin C injection long-term storage recommendations are to store below 86f / 30c  
  TP Drug vitamin C injection storage recommendations 77f / 25c
• Store shielded from light - placed in an opaque container, in a cool non-humid place with a stable temperature.
• The ideal long-term storage temperature is below 77f / 25c, avoid near freezing temperatures.

Storage Tips: 

• Place your vitamin C injections in a box, a paper bag or wrap the vials in aluminum foil before placing them into your storage cabinet or refrigerated appliance.
• The bathroom is not the ideal storage place due to the excess humidity and temperatures.
• Store in a cool cabinet not hit by direct sunlight or near hot humid areas, such as near the shower, sauna, atrium or Jacuzzi.
